Svenska vargjakten sågas Leave a comment

Environmentalists Aren’t Taking Proposed “Blanket Wolf Delisting” Lying Down…. Leave a comment
It is scary how greedy the human race is ~ I’ve said this before and I say it again ~ why is it such a completely impossible concept, to share this planet with and it’s resources with wildlife? America is such a large country with vast low or no-populated areas, there is definitely room for the animals as well.

If the wolf haters think advocates are looking the other way while they systematically dismantle wolf recovery across the US, they better think twice. As I stated in my previous post the anti-wolf brigade is going in for the kill, they want wolves delisted across the lower 48, which would effectively stop wolf recovery in its tracks. Wolves already face daunting odds dispersing outside the “kill zone” of the hostile wolf states. Even with federal protection they usually end up dead, shot by hunters who almost always claim ” I thought it was a coyote” excuse.

THE DELISTING MUST BE STOPPED AT ALL COSTS!
This is where the rubber meets the road. Every wolf advocate who reads this blog, who follows Wolf Warriors and Howling For Justice, every animal rights blogger, anyone and everyone who cares about wolves, please stand up now and be counted. You must take action, this is happening very swiftly. Spread this post far and wide!!

The BORGare coming for wolves. The Hive Collective is mobilizing its wolf hating troops to pressure the USFWS to delist wolves across the US. The take-over of America’s wolves is being led by the usual suspects: Sen. Orin Hatch (R-UT), Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) and Sen. John Barasso (R-WY). A letter sent to Dan Ashe, USFWS Director, on March 22, 2013, implored him to remove wolves from the Endangered Species List ACROSS THE LOWER 48. 72 members of Congress signed off on it, mainly House Republicans with a smattering of Senate Republicans and a few Democrats thrown in.
Wolves reside in just nine states: Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and sometimes California (with OR7 drifting in and out) and have been harassed, tortured, brutalized and hunted in the last four years, since the Spring of 2009 when our newly elected President Obama and his rancher Interior…

Message to Anti-Wildlife Trolls Leave a comment
So very, very true. Once labeled animal activist it’s as if one loses credability no matter the subject of discussion.

**UPDATE 3/27/13**
The person that wrote the original message, sent a welcome apology:
I acknowledge that my post was vulgar and insulting. I apologize for that. In the heat of the moment I expressed myself in a way I generally would not and it was deplorable. We may not agree on hunting but we should still be able to discuss the issue in a civil manner, which I did not do and again, apologize for.
Thank you. While this issue always inflames passion civil discourse is indeed the best way to go.

The longer that I run this website the more I realize how arrogant and deplorable the sadists that we are up against truly are. While long making it obvious that their disgusting smug comments will not be posted they continue to go out of their way to offend living wildlife advocates in any manner that they can…

Glad to learn that Utah residents are in favor of wolves being a part of their state’s wildlife.
The Daily Utah Chronicle – Luigi Ghersi
Big Game Forever, Don Peay and the Utah Legislature may want to stop wolves from returning to Utah but 74% of the state’s citizens are in favor of reintroduction. (hjnews.com)
The only thing that disturbed me about this opinion piece was this quote:
“The prime number of wolves for the available habitat space in Utah is 200. This amount would allow optimal growth of the species. Anymore would create an influx, which was most likely the problem with the Yellowstone restoration of wolves.”
It’s always about the end game, the day when wolves reach some magical number and then the slaughter begins. That’s what we’re fighting in the Northern Rockies and Great Lakes. Wolves are never going to be safe under state management.

Walker’s Budget Proposes To End Night Killing of Wolves Leave a comment
Wisconsin Wildlife Ethic-Vote Our Wildlife
Walker’s budget would end night wolf hunting
When I first read this headline, I thought for a brief moment that common sense was even beginning to dawn even on someone as obstinate as Scott Walker. For a brief moment I thought maybe the state was beginning to realize that their reckless wolf slaughter plans would be the focal point of the upcoming lawsuit from the Humane Society of the United States. But no. It is all about money. Apparently the reason that Walker included this in his budget was because of the funding issues with providing 24 hour “enforcement” of the laws. Not that the law has ever mattered one bit to those who poach and torture wolves, but the DNR must give the illusion that they will “enforce” the law. Of course this only serves the purpose of announcing to the killers of coyotes and raccoons at night that…
